Medical Intuition: Lori Wilson’s Total Body Intuition™
Medical Intuition is the application of trained intuitive skills, for the purpose of receiving detailed information directly from the body. Using the methods and skills taught in Lori Wilson’s Total Body Intuition™, the body scan information is received and recorded in a systematic manner, and may include anatomical, physiological, emotional, and spiritual components.
The body scan consists of 3 components:
1) The Broadcast, a brief initial section of the scan, during which the body is greeted by the practitioner and shares whatever it wishes, as an introduction.
2) The Head to Toe section, which is the largest area of the scan. The body is scanned in a systematic fashion, through the practitioner’s intention and attending skills, and information is recorded in detail, as presented by the body. Each scan is unique, just as each person is unique; we approach the body without any pre-conceived ideas, frames of reference, or judgements.
3) In the Organs and Systems section, the last part of the scan, the body has the opportunity to share any further organ or systemic details that may not have arisen during the Head to Toe section.
The basis for this work is the concept that our bodies are incorporated into an energy field that contains a wide variety of information that can be accessed by our conscious intention. Another excellent resource, is Lynne McTaggart’s book, The Field, which summarizes extensive scientific research on energy fields.
Who needs Medical Intuition?
• people with chronic or recurrent health issues, which have not responded to mainstream or alternative health treatments.
• people with a health condition that is complex, or difficult to understand, by traditional medical or alternative health care methods.
• people who are curious about exploring their own individual pattern of health and illness, for the purpose of making decisions about:
- their health care (eg. which health care professionals to consult, and specifically how they can be helpful), or
- their life direction, based upon how their body is reacting to their current life activities and decisions
• people who are curious about their own unique mind-body connection, and wish to understand themselves better by listening directly to their body’s wisdom.

A medical intuition body scan can help the client:
• understand their body’s own unique functions and obtain answers about puzzling health concerns, which can relieve stress and worry.
• obtain a clearer portrait of what is going on, to provide themselves and their healing team with specific information that can be used to decide their direction for life decisions or health care decisions.
• feel reassured or validated about unresolved emotional or physical issues by obtaining specific, direct communication from the body about significant physiology, people or influences in their life that are affecting them in some way.
• save money and time, by directing their health care dollars towards health professionals and treatments which the body, upon questioning, has indicated it needs or requires.
• minimize adverse effects from medications or treatments by asking the body what its reaction may be to these interventions.
• open up to new ideas about what is possible for themselves and their life, by having the profound experience of communicating with their own body.
Details about booking a Medical Intuition Appointment with Lisa Dennys:
• Clients are required to sign an informed consent before the scan is done. This can be faxed, mailed or e-mailed to the client.
• The body scan is done without the client being physically present (due to information being received form the client’s energy field), and takes approximately 1 hour or more.
• At the time of booking the scan, a 1-hour follow-up appointment time (over the telephone or in person) is booked with Lisa, to provide the scan results. The client is requested to call Lisa at the scheduled time.
• Payment (Visa or cheque) must be received and processed prior to completing the scan appointment. Cost is $212.00 CDN (includes GST)
• Clients are reminded that this 1-hour time consists of reporting the information, with a few minutes to clarify or ask the body further questions. Remember that this is an information-gathering tool, not a ‘how to fix it’ recommendation for treatment. Clients are strongly encouraged to take detailed notes, or have a partner or friend do this for them, so that the information is available for reference. These notes are also useful to bring health care professionals, for later discussion.
Commonly asked questions about Medical Intuition scans:
What is my role as a client after receiving the scan results?
• After the scan appointment, it is recommended that you sit with the information for at least 24-48 hours to allow time to consider any desired action or treatment. This allows you to fully honour the valuable information your body has provided, and allow it to assimilate into your conscious awareness. Often details that initially seem minor or irrelevant can be rich sources of information to consider over time.
How can the scan information be used?
Your options may include:
• Taking the information to various members of your existing health care team for discussion
• Journaling about the information, to gain further clarity for yourself and your reactions to the information
• Exploring new health care resources, and taking the scan information to them to discuss it.
Why a health care ‘team’?
• We are all complicated, multi-faceted people. It is my belief, based upon over 25 years of health care experience, that there is no ‘quick fix’. This is particularly true when dealing with chronic or recurrent health problems.
• Each health care professional has unique training and experience, and can bring their own evaluation skills, perspective, and treatment options to the client’s health care picture.
• What is key information to one health professional may seem insignificant to the client, or to another health care professional. The strength of the scan is that it is detailed information directly from the body, not clouded by anyone’s judgement. It is a useful springboard for helping the client and health professionals with health care decisions.

Follow-up Counselling:
Lisa Dennys is available for half-hour or one hour follow-up appointments to further assist with processing the information and discussing possible referrals or resources. A waiting period of at least 2 weeks is required from the time that the scan information is delivered, until the appointment with Lisa.
Cost of this appointment is $79.50 for 1 hour, or $42.40 for ½ hour (includes GST).

What is Channeling?
Channeling is conscious communication with a source of wisdom that is outside of yourself and your everyday awareness. It is a useful tool for receiving information or guidance about various aspects of our lives. This wisdom can be accessed in numerous ways from a variety of sources, such as spirit guides, loved ones who have passed on, animals, your own body, or your “higher self”, which is the wise part of yourself. Channeling has existed since the beginning of recorded history.
How Can I Benefit from Receiving a Channeled Message?
We live in a very left-brain, analytical world. Accessing information from beyond our usual reasoning, thinking, conscious mind can be beneficial by providing a different perspective on some of your questions about your life.
This new information can assist in understanding important issues in your life, or in clarifying your life’s direction or purpose. Information that is accessed from beyond the conscious mind can assist with knowledge, creativity, and healing.
Can Channeling Give Me Answers for My Problems?
Channeling provides wisdom, information and insight, which you can choose to use any way you wish. Because we all have free will, we are always responsible for our own decisions in our life. Channeled information can provide some unique perspectives, which may introduce some new ideas for you to consider when dealing with your life’s questions and problems.
How Does Lisa Receive a Message from her Guide(s)?
I practice conscious channeling, in which I quickly establish a relaxed and open state of mind to receive information, using my intention, concentration and a quick, relaxing breath. I simply look away from your direct gaze, or close my eyes, in order to focus on the message being received. The process involves seeing images in my mind’s eye, or hearing a thought, for example. The information received from the guide(s)is simply reported, without censorship, judgement, or opinion.
Who Are Lisa’s Guides?
I work currently with two different guides. One guide, Sky Pony, is a Native American guide who was known to me in a shared past lifetime in the 1400’s. Information is provided to me from Sky Pony through visual images and words. He is a wise, kind, and straightforward presence, and is eager to share his thoughts to assist people on their life path. When speaking to me of our work together, Sky Pony says, “There are many waiting for you to call them home to themselves.” He works with me to encourage people to discover and follow their own inner wisdom, and to let go of the judgement and expectations of others. Sky Pony is my primary guide for working with clients.
The other guide is a group energy called The Collective, consisting of intergalactic guides from beyond the earth. These guides share a wonderful wisdom and perspective about life that is warm and unique. There are many people these days who are discovering their past connections to beings beyond our earth time and place, and who are exploring the significance of this re-connection in their present day lives. The Collective serve to assist people in their quest for life purpose and meaning.
Other helpful guides may occasionally present themselves, to provide a general message, or to answer your specific questions.

This 1-hour appointment in my office consists of a recorded general message from my Guide, including the opportunity for you to ask specific questions about your life. Cost is $79.50 (includes GST).
Distance Channeling appointment:
As above, but done over the phone. The CD of your appointment will be mailed to you. Cost is $79.50 (includes postage and GST).
Channeling for special occasions:
Enjoy group and/or individual messages for special occasions and events, parties, birthdays, anniversaries, or pre-wedding family gatherings, with a blessing for the bride and groom from my guide, Sky Pony. Cost is $106.00 per hour (GST & travel time included. Session minimum 1 hour, maximum 3 hours. Extra fee for travel outside the Sarnia area).
E-mailed subscription for personal channelled message from Sky Pony:
This service consists of a twice -monthly e-mailed message from Sky Pony, 1-2 pages in length (single spaced, arial font #10). Cost is $37.20 (includes GST), payable by monthly VISA billing. Limited number of subscriptions available.

Intuitive Counselling
Have you ever felt stuck about a problem or issue in your life and wish that you could really get a handle on it in order to quickly move forward? This service is provided to help clients get a better understanding of themselves and their thoughts and feelings, relating to a specific, important decision or event in their lives. It is a very cost-effective way to get at the root of an issue and understand, from the powerful wisdom of the client's own body and of Sky Pony (my spirit guide), what is really going on and where to go next. This helps move from a place of feeling stuck or unsure, to one of confidence and action.
Blending counselling skills from my Occupational Therapy training and other extensive health care (and life!)experience, along with techniques from channeling and medical intuition, the 1 1/2-hour appointment is structured in the following manner :
• A brief introductory discussion in which the client outlines the specific area of concern he/she wishes to focus on for the session. Clients are encouraged to journal a summary of their area of concern prior to the appointment, to assist with their own clarity and focus.
• A channelled message from my Spirit Guide, Sky Pony, addressing the area of concern and his perspective about the area(s) of focus for the session.
• The client then discusses the relevant issues related to the area of concern. During this time, I listen and make notes, using medical intuition tools, to track the body’s response as the client discusses specific details. This provides useful information about how the client is reacting to the various scenarios presented, from the perspective of the body's physiology, and the interplay between thoughts, emotions, and other energetic influences. This section may include details of body physiology such as tension areas or symptoms, past memories that get triggered, or roots of fears in childhood or past life experiences.
• I then provide feedback to the client about what the body has communicated. This allows the client to relate the current concern to more subtle body symptoms/awareness, and to previous roots that are affecting the present day issue. Knowledge of these various areas can profoundly validate the client's own intuition and affect further choices and actions.
• Sky Pony provides closing remarks or suggestions/reminders/feedback/recommendations.
• Final brief discussion/summary of the session.
One of the advantages of the unique format of this session is that it provides new awareness, support and feedback. The wisdom is coming from outside of our everyday thinking /analytical mind, which can help clients move beyond the limits of old habits and perspectives.

Past Life Regression
Past life regression is a powerful tool that utilizes deep relaxation to facilitate the retrieval of memories from previous life experiences. It is not necessary to believe in reincarnation or past lives in order to benefit from this service; it can also be seen as the result of our creative imagination. Regression is an effective technique that is used to explore the roots of chronic or recurrent physical or emotional issues, or simply to discover details about an area of interest or curiosity. Often, bringing previous experiences to conscious awareness can facilitate profound self-understanding, and provide a significant step in resolving health or life concerns. Regression allows you to discover important pieces of the puzzle that is ‘you’.
The role of the practitioner in this style of regression is to provide a relaxing, comfortable environment, and to facilitate the client’s own exploration. The client is in control of the session at all times. I provide 2-hour in-person regression appointments in my office, which consist of the following components:
• Establishing the goal of your regression: what do you wish to focus on or explore?
• 15-20 minute verbal relaxation/visualization exercise to allow your creative mind to ‘play’.
• Exploration of past memories, for about 1 hour. As you speak aloud, I record your comments in detail so that you may take these notes with you after the appointment.
Usually clients are able to explore the relevant details of several lifetimes in one session, including the purpose of each lifetime, and any promise or decision made that is relevant to their life now.
• Visualization of your ‘Spirit Guide’ and receiving of a message from them, in whatever form it takes
• Final closure session, and any short question/discussion as the client wishes.
• Recommendations for follow-up journaling or reading, if desired.
